عفيف دمشقية وترجمة أمين معلوف: ليون الأفريقي نموذجًا

Abstract

الترجمة عملية تأويلية تقوم على عناصر لغوية ومعرفية وثقافية، وإذا كانت الترجمة الأدبية تشترك مع الترجمات الأخرى في بعض الشروط فهي تتميز عنها أيضًا بمجموعة من الظروف يحتمها النص الأدبي نفسه. إنطلاقا من بعض المبادئ النظرية في الترجمة، يحاول المقال تحليل الترجمة التي قام بها عفيف دمشقية لأعمال أمين معلوف وتحديدًا لرواية ((ليون الافريقي))، سعيا وراء تحديد الجوانب الإبداعية في هذه الترجمة

Translation is an interpretative process based on linguistic and cognitive elements. Literary translation can be identified in some respects to other types of translation; however, it is characterized by some features which are generated by the literary text itself. This article focuses on some theoretical principles governing the translation process. It then reviews Dr. Afif Dimashkiyveh's Arabic translation of Amin Maalouf's literary works and, in particular, Maalouf's novel "Léon l'Africain", in order to detect the creativity of the translator.

La traduction est un processus interprétatif fondé sur des éléments linguistiques et cognitifs. Si la traduction littéraire put être identifiée dans certains de ses aspects par rapport aux autres types de traduction, elle se distingue par des traits qui sont spécifiques au texte littéraire lui-même. Partant de certains fondements théoriques qui régissent l'opération traduisante, cet article se propose d'examiner la traduction arabe par Afif Dimachkiyyé de l'œuvre d'Amin Maalouf, et plus particulièrement de son roman «Léon l'Africain», afin d'y déceler la créativité du traducteur.
