Recently, researches have shown that Lebanon falls between two major seismic zones (Zone 2g & 3g). This project is about a seismic design of an Office building in Tripoli-Lebanon. This report contains all the required elements of a seismic design for a reinforced concrete office building. The design of the structure is carried out according to the standards of the ACI318M-11, UBC97 & ACI352R-02. This project includes the seismic design of all the following structural elements of the building: - Frames (Columns and Beams) - Joint Reinforcement - Slabs (Ribbed & Solid) - Shear walls - Mat foundation Architectural Plans, Structural Plans, cross sections and drawings are included to aid in the explanation and to show the location of the designed members.
