The study was conducted on the FAR BLDG project in Beirut. It consisted of water supply, drainage and the heating and ventilation air conditioning systems of the building. The report covers all the learning, experiences design and calculation in this building. The building profile differs in the type of use. Where the ground floor contains a restaurant, the first floor a hotel, the last floor an office and the roof a gym and a pool. The mechanical systems in these three flours are different in design and calculation. The National Plumbing Code is used for the plumbing system. The water supply system is a down feed system. The ASHAE standards are used for the HVAC in this building. The heating and ventilation air conditioning systems are a split system used in the ground and first floors while the second floor uses a ducted system.
