Subjects: Electronic commerce--Lebanon
Issue Date: 2012
Abstract:
The research tested 14824 firms registered at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Tripoli and North Lebanon for online presence. Three types of mutually none exclusive online presence was chosen: privately owned websites, third party websites or social media presence via Facebook and Twitter; these firms represent the entirety of the chambers registered companies. The study was conducted using purely online public materials i.e. the CCIATs website and Google search engine. Firms were allocated into Categories, Provinces and Fields in order to widen research scope. Descriptive statistic was used in the analysis to answer the key research questions.
