Subjects: Tanks--Design and construction
Water-supply engineering--Lebanon
Issue Date: 2018
Abstract:
Our project is to develop a design criteria taking into consideration both the static and dynamic analysis for underground rectangular concrete water tanks. Many codes and methods are used in our project like ACI 350-06, and DIN70 Tables for static analysis, Houzner and Mononobe and Okabe method for dynamic analysis. Also, an excel sheet is generated to design and cost estimate several water tanks using our design criteria which enable us to generates graphs for quantities calculations.
