Abstract:
Bees play a crucial role in the environment, particularly in the pollination of plants and the production of honey. In Lebanon, bees are an important part of the country's agricultural ecosystem. They help pollinate a variety of crops, including fruits, vegetables, and nuts. In addition, honey production in Lebanon is a significant source of income for many rural families. However, bees are facing many challenges including habitat loss, pesticide use, and climate change. These challenges threaten not only the bees but also the entire ecosystem that depends on them. It is crucial to take action to protect bees and their habitats to ensure the continued health of the environment and the sustainable production of honey. The importance of bees and honey in Lebanon highlights the need for conservation efforts to be implemented to protect these vital insects and the ecosystem they support.
