The four constructs under investigation include: teachers’ perceptions of their teacher leadership attributes along with self-efficacy, decision-making and trust. Two hundred and five teachers participated in the survey from all grades level and subject matters. The survey was distributed to the entire population resulting 68% of that population participating in the study. Analysis of the respondents’ answers included calculating percentage of each statements well as analyzing each construct. Cross tabulation analysis was also conducted. The study revealed that the majority of private school teachers in Mount Lebanon participate in leadership functions even if they are not aware of it. All four constructs received high mean scores indicating that these conditions for leadership are in evidence for the majority of respondents. |
