Abstract

يهدف بحثنا إلى الإضاءة على قرية بشمزِّين، التي تقع في قضاء الكورة شمال لبنان، وتحديدًا على كنيسة رقاد السيّدة وكنيسة القدّيس جاورجيوس في وسط البلدة. سنعرض لمحة تاريخيّة عن تاريخ تأسيسهما وسنتناول بالوصف بناء كلّ منهما وما يتضمّن من هندسة داخليّة، وما يحتضن من أيقونات

This research focuses on the two main churches in the village of Bechmezzin in the Koura district of North Lebanon: the Dormition of the Mother of God and Saint George’s. The research provides a brief history of their founding, construction, interior architecture and iconography.

Cet article porte sur les deux principales églises du village de Bechmezzine au Liban-Nord, Notre-Dame-de-la-Dormition et Saint-Georges. Nous présenterons un aperçu historique de leur fondation, ainsi qu’une description de leur construction, architecture intérieure et iconographie.
