Abstract:
The aim of this master's thesis is to enhance the strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness of concrete mixes by including gypsum in place of cement. The study focuses on the best mix design to use gypsum in and investigates how it may be used to make affordable, environmentally friendly building materials. The cost-effectiveness of gypsum considerably lowers production costs overall. The findings of the study indicate that, despite certain difficulties with workability and setting times, gypsum-integrated concrete delivers better strength and longevity. This work offers a viable substitute for conventional concrete mixes and advances the construction industry's transition to more sustainable and efficient building techniques.
