Abstract:
An interesting question was raised by Frankl ,Holmsen and Kupavskii (2021) about the maximum size of an intersecting family of triangles determined by a set of points at convex position and it was studied explicitly later by Füredi et al (2022). A family of triangles is said to be intersecting if any two triangles from this family have an intersecting interiors. We prove in this project that the number of intersecting family of triangles whose vertices are at a convex position is at most ( ( ))( ) triangles.
