الأدباء الأرمن الذين أبدعوا في اللغة العربيّة خلال القرنين السابع عشر والثامن عشر (لمحة موجزة)

Abstract

بعد مقدّمة صغيرة عن الأدباء الأرمن الذين أبدعوا باللغة العربيّة ابتداءً من القرن العاشر الميلادي إلى يومنا هذا، ويربو عددهم على 500 أديب، يتطرّق المقال إلى المواضيع الشاملة التي أبدع فيها هؤلاء الأدباء في فترة الدراسة، من علم اللاهوت والكتب الدينيّة، حيث برز العديد منهم وأشهرهم الشمَّاس مكرديج بن عبد الله (عبد الأحد) الكسيح الأرمني، وهو أحد روَّاد النهضة الأدبيّة العربيّة التي بدأت في حلب في القرن الثامن عشر وانتشرت منها إلى الدول العربيّة، إلى بقيّة المواضيع كالجدالات العقائديّة، وخاصّة من طرف إكليروس الأرمن الكاثوليك ضدّ إخوانهم الأرمن الأرثوذكس، وكذلك الشعر والأدب والتاريخ وعلم اللغة وأخيرًا العلوم والمواضيع المختلفة. إنّ العديد من الأدباء الذين تطرّق إليهم الباحث لا ذكر لهم، لا في موسوعة الأب جورج غراف الشهيرة، لا عند الأب لويس شيخو في مؤلَّفاته العديدة، ولا في بقيّة المصادر المعروفة لدراسة التراث العربي المسيحي القديم

The article examines the general areas of study of the Armenian authors writing in Arabic during the 17th and the 18th centuries. The most important themes were theology and the writing of religious books. Many of these authors were renowned, such as Deacon Mgrdich Ibn Abd Allah (Abdul Ahad) Alkasih Alarmani. The article also includes descriptions of dogmatic controversies between representatives of the Armenian Apostolic (orthodox) and Armenian Catholic clergy. The other themes discussed in the article are poetry, literature, history, and science. Many of the writers are mentioned in neither the Father Georg Graf’s encyclopaedia, nor in Father Louis Cheikho’s many books, nor in other ancient Christian Arab heritage sources.

Cet article présente les principaux thèmes d’intérêt des écrivains arméniens composant en langue arabe des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. Ils abordent principalement la théologie et l’écriture de livres sacrés. Les plus célèbres parmi ces écrivains est le prêtre Mgrdich Ibn Abd Allah (Abdul Ahad) Alkasih Alarmani. Cet article présente aussi les controverses dogmatiques entre les clergés arménien orthodoxe et arménien catholique, les autres thèmes abordés étant la poésie, la littérature, l’histoire, la science, etc. Nombreux parmi ces écrivains ne sont pas mentionnés dans l’encyclopédie de Pr Georg Graf ou celle du père Louis Cheikho, ni dans les autres sources sur l’héritage chrétien arabe.
