مراجعة نقدية ل((المنهل)) في طبعته الجديدة والمنقحة

Abstract

قام الباحث بدراسته بالتعاون مع طالبات في فرعي ((اللغات الحية)) ((اللغة العربية)) في كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية في جامعة البلمند، وتتصل بمراجعة نقدية للمعجم الثنائي اللغة ((المنهل))، للدكتور سهيل إدريس، الذي صدر مؤخراً في طبعة جديدة، مزيدة ومنقحة. وطاولت الدراسة مستويات مختلفة في إعداد المعجم، من مداخله إلى تعريفاته، متوقفة أمام نجاحاته ونواقصه، متعرضة كذلك للمشاكل التي تقوم في أساس أية عملية ترادفية بين لغتين (وثقافتين)

Cette recherche a été effectuée en collaboration avec les étudiantes aux départements de « Langues Vivantes » et de Langue et Littérature Arabes à la Faculté des Lettres à l’Université de Balamand. Elle se propose comme une lecture critique du dictionnaire bilingue « Al-Manhal » établi par Souhail Idriss et publié récemment dans sa nouvelle édition revue et corrigée. La recherche a envisagé les différents niveaux d'élaboration de ce dictionnaire: des introductions jusqu’aux définitions. Elle a souligné ses succès ainsi que ses lacunes, tout en indiquant les problèmes que toute opération de correspondance entre deux langues (der cultures) est portée à confronter.

This research has been conducted in collaboration with the students of the Arabic Language and Literature Department and the Modern Languages Department at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences-University of Balamand. It's a critical review of Souheil Idriss's bilingual dictionary al-Manhal, recently published in a new revised edition. The research studies the different stages of making the dictionary, from the introductions to the definitions. It underlines the positive and negative aspects of the enterprise, while pinpointing the problems that any correspondence between two languages (and two cultures) may arise.
