Abstract

في المحاضرة عرض لمراحل مشروع ترجمة سيرة بيبرس للغة الفرنسية وللصعوبات التي اعترضتها ولأهميتها في اغناء الأدب والثقافة. وقد قسمت السيرة إلى عدة مجموعات ونشر منها حتى الآن سبعة عناوين والفضل يعود في ذلك إلى جهود جان باتريك جيللوم وجورج بوهاس وإلى دار سندباد التي قبلت خوض مغامرة نشر السيرة. وتلقي المحاضرة أضواء على شخصية بيبرس وتميّز بين الشخصية التاريخية لهذا البطل والشخصية الروائية التي تعتمد الخيال

Traduire en publier le récit populaire de la vie de «Beibars est le projet de deux chercheurs français: Georges BOHAS et Jean-Patrik GUILLAUME qui avaient dû affronter plusieurs difficultés avant de pouvoir mener à terme la première étape de leur projet en publiant chez Sindbad les 7 premiers tomes de la «Sirat de Beibars». La conférence s'est proposé un double objectif: Présenter les différentes étapes du projet et jeter de la lumière sur le héros populaire qu'a été Beibars tout en établissant la distinction entre le personnage saisi dans sa réalité historique et le personnage mythifié par l'imagination populaire.

The translation and publication of "Sirat Baibars" were an enterprise conducted by the two following French researchers: George BOHAS and Jean-Patrick GULAUME. The two translators faced many difficulties before achieving the first stage of their enterprise, and publishing the first seven volumes of the biography at Sindbad Publishing House. The lecture first presents the different stages of the enterprise and sheds light on Baibars, the popular hero. Then, it distinguishes between the historical reality of Baibars and his popular mythification.
