Issue Date: | 1996-02 | Publisher: | University of Balamand | Part of: | Kalimat | Issue: | 3 | Start page: | 171 | End page: | 198 | Abstract: | L'Arabe Standard (AS) possède un certain nombre de consonnes emphatiques. Standard Arabic (SA) possesses a certain number of emphatic consonants. The same is true for the different varieties of dialects in the Arab world. Therefore, some dialects have emphatics that don't exist in SA. This is the case of Moroccan Arabic (MA), our topic in this study. |
