Abstract

Entre une identité collective et une identité féminine, le roman québécois semble se frayer son chemin dans une quête identitaire où se confrontent transgression/normes, oralité/geste, québecité/américanité. En relevant ce défi, le roman québécois développe des stratégies linguistiques qui feront éclater la notrion du cadre romanesque et du sujet dans une écriture en liberté.

Between a collective identity and a feminin identity, the Quebecois novel seems to negotiate its quest for identity through a confrontation between transgression and norms, orality and gesture, Quebecism and Americanism. In accepting this challenge, the Quebecois novel develops linguistic strategies that burst the notion of a novelistic frame and a freely writing subject.
