Its importance also lies in its narrative attributes which first appeared in the 13th century. It is representative of a period of Arab Orthodox and Catholic openness linked to the mergence of an different artistic school. This icon and its painter followed a particular style that mixed proximity and distance to his predecessors and successors of the same school. |
