The goal of this paper is to implement a wireless positioning system based on the RF wave, which can be used in an internal environment. First, localization in a wireless sensor network is simulated using Matlab. Then, a ZigBee network has been implemented using a technique known as location fingerprinting, which is based on signal strength to estimate the position of a moving object. Finally, the results are analyzed to conclude on the performance of the method used.en_US
