In this study, three supports, mesoporous silica (KIT-6), alumina (Al2O3) and ceria (CeO2) were synthesized. The wet impregnation technique was used in order to add an active phase of ruthenium (Ru-1%), nickel (Ni-15%), or a combination of the two metals (Ni-Ru) on each of the stabilized supports. The catalysts obtained were calcined at 550°C and then characterized by XRD and H2-TPR. The catalysts were evaluated for their activity in the CO2methanation reaction in the temperature range 150-350°C.en_US
