Abstract:
Rapidly growing body of multi-omics data has enabled us to develop a better understanding of the heterogeneous nature of cancer. There is growing momentum behind the application of this knowledge to pharmaceutically target oncogenic cell signaling pathways to inhibit and/or prevent carcinogenesis and metastasis. Circular RNAs have gained extra-ordinary attention because of their contributory role in carcinogenesis and metastasis. In this chapter we have set spotlight on the most recent and cutting-edge scientific reports which have re-shaped the landscape of molecular oncology.
