Issue Date: | 2021 | Abstract: | This project is a new vision for juvenile correctional facilities in Lebanon. Sadly, all Lebanese prisons are overcrowded and lack the minimal desirable living conditions. The most basic human necessities are absent. It is very urgent and important to make the Lebanese prisons more humane through architecture, because look and feel of a prison should not be a punishment. The inmates’ punishment is taking away their freedom. Everyday life should not be a sentence. |
