Abstract: 
In this paper, a modified Gambler Ruin type problems is proposed where a tie outcome and the effect of the double bet on the game. For the proposed problem, a Markov Chain is developed. Doubling is considered only in favorable deals relying on the HLI. The expected time of the game is studied. Comparison between modified and traditional is provided as well.
