Title: | Capping machine | Authors: | Frangieh, George | Advisors: | Tawk, Issam | Subjects: | Conveying machinery--Design and construction | Issue Date: | 2011 | Abstract: | The main purpose for designing the capping machine is to make industrial plants carry out the tasks provided by such machines with a much lower cost. Decreasing the cost is focused on decreasing the cost of production of these machines by using the proper material, simplifying the design, and decreasing the need and cost of maintenance to maintain required production rates. This is done by using simple materials that can be bought any market, components that have simple geometrical shapes and can be manufactured easily and the use of parts that if damaged are cheap and easy to replace. Unlike any other similar machine, the design was capable of avoiding the use of cooling systems with their complex design and high cost. |
