Abstract: 
Lebanon has been constantly subjected to pollution, most wastewater outfalls discharge to the sea. Knowing that the coast contribute to about 73 percent of Lebanon Gross domestic product, the country suffers from poor management of wastewater due to many technical and funding problems. The aim of this project is to discuss different ways of treating wastewater, highlight on the main steps of process, and design several stages using research and collected data. This study focuses on Al Koura region and proposes doing a wastewater treatment plant in this zone, therefore all mentioned technical data and specifications are related to this proposed plant. Due to the characteristics of this area, this study has taken into consideration the ability of use the treated water as an alternative source of water which can minimize significantly the load on existing sources of water for fulfilling agricultural demands.
