Abstract:
The beverages industry is an industry of mass production. The term mass production reflects the need for a large amount of beverages to be available in the market. To supply such a demand, the production has to divert from the manual production that depends mainly on the work force towards automating the production process. Several steps have been carried to automate the process of juice filling. Therefore, several advantages will be achieved such as: reduction of the work force which leads to minimizing the risk of contamination of the final product from human contact and carried viruses, increasing the production rate that in return cover the demand required, and insure a product of higher quality. This project examines the automation of the beverages production process. The team designed and manufactured linear filler. Also learned how to synchronize the mechanical system with the automation system to increase the production rate, minimize the human direct contact with the product, optimize the performance and effectiveness of the production, and increase the quality of the final product.
