This report covers the details of developing a design of an automatic aluminum can recycling machine that has 2 couples of pressing roller to crush cans and another couple of shredder to cut them following several stages. A can is put in the infeed cone and is moved into the higher crusher to be crushed and swallowed to move to a second crusher. Then, it is pushed into the shredder to be cut into small pieces before it is introduced into a cone containing the partly accumulated shredded cans to move into a box after opening the drawer. Finally, the drawer closes after filling the box that moves using a conveyor system to be replaced by a new blank box and these movements are done using PLC.
