The purpose of this project is to create a fully functional wiper system that runs smoothly and yields realistic results. To do this, we had to design and build a model that would give real results. We initially faced some difficulties, as the exact dimensions of the wiper system are confidential and not available to the public.To overcome this, we tested a wide range of variables until we achieved results that were comparable to a real set of wipers. The simulation velocity, acceleration, wiping angle and coverage area were all obtained and validated. This was all carried out using MSC Adams. Although no direct improvements were made to the standard design by us, we did however make some suggestions that could be implemented.
