Abstract:
Baby boomers are those born between 1946 and 1964. Researchers who carried out studies on baby boomers focused primarily on the roles baby boomers can play in our society and workforce, such as mentoring and volunteering activities, along with the obstacles and stereotypical perceptions they are faced with. The purpose of our research using qualitative methodology is to dig deeper into what further roles can be identified in our society and workplace after retirement for the top skilled Lebanese baby boomers along with the obstacles and stereotypes they are faced with. Our research is aimed at demonstrating the value of baby boomers in Lebanon and at drawing attention to how Lebanon as a whole and different communities and age groups within Lebanon can benefit from their skills and abilities.
