Abstract: 
The implementation of effective risk management, quality assurance/quality control, PDCA, and accreditation programs assumed major importance in patients health safety and customers satisfaction in hospitals, because of increasing number of patients bad treatment claims, higher damages and health hazards that patients are facing or exposed to in the Lebanese health care centers facilities in this study. The authors analyze the necessity and effectiveness of applying a formal risk management programs in all health care facilities in Lebanon. The authors also discuss the role of risk managers who have a growing responsibility to employing a fully functioning risk management programs in hospitals, as well as give considerations to all the factors that impose a health risk/hazard on patients and cause hospitals to gain a negative image .It is recommended that hospitals in Lebanon give serious considerations to implementing and strengthening risk management and accreditation programs to protect their reputations, assets, and to ensure the health safety of their patients.
