Abstract:
This project draws a layout of protection of overhead transmission lines based on the nominal values of currents, voltages, and the relation between them. The project highlights the backward synthesis of unsymmetrical fault analysis, and implements, based on the collected data, and applied methodology of fault detection. This process is the result of running all types of fault analysis over the electric grid to end up detecting instead of classifying a deviation. THe methodolgy of power flow analysis and the drafting of power fault classification are mainly done using an advance Graphical User Interface (GUI) in MATLAB, a matter that allows the vision of the function and its reciprocal. The rest is the feasibility to measure in a reverse mode the voltage and the current. The application of the reverse engineering scheme entails accurate fault detection based on the fact that the measurements are done on the interconnected virtual fault location.
