Issue Date: 2018
Abstract:
This project a simple and reliable solution for hidden underground tanks and caves exploration. Many caves and underground tanks are difficult to access and only have on small entry from above the ground. There is a need of a machine that can reach deep underground and take measurements to discover the shape and dimension of those hidden tanks and caves. This report displays three types of measurement devices that could be used with the invented mechanism. It also presents and explains the function of every electrical and mechanical component in this project and how it is built together. The program used to control the machine is also presented and explained. The report reveals the capabilities weakness of the mechanism. At the end of this project a full working model is represented that can control the movement of many measurement devices to create a three dimensional model of any cave or underground tank.
