Electric power consumption--Measurement
AMR is the abbreviation of Automated Meter Reading. This technique uses innovative technologies to read meters remotely. The idea of this project is a very important step in digitizing the process of power monitoring. The need to monitor the amount of power produced and delivered to the normal user is an essential process for the utility. A digital power meter is able to order the monitor and send this data in an automated way. The current power meters installed in order to monitor electrical users are mechanical power readers, and this amount of power that could be used by the user. To add, the process of logging the data from the power meters is done manually, therefore mistakes can occur even in monitoring the real power. Thus, a precise and automated power meter could be very important in monitoring the amount of power consumed.
