Abstract

The purpose of this project is to build a platform using "Geographic Information System", relying of given data and Ortho-map. This report will focus on the water supply and waste water estimation and survey for two municipalities. so, It will start with a definition and description about the program, how to use it, the benefits of the program and how to translate valuable data into a future use. This report will show the steps used to complete the project starting from IGN map, Ortho map, the projection system and then by crossing data together linked to the database. As mentioned, the area will be divided into two areas using the administrative limits. those areas will be classified into five different categories according to land uses, and zoomed in towards the houses in order to estimate the population number in each zone, water supply and waste water estimation in order to decide if a treatment plan should be built or not. This project location is in France.
