Abstract:
This project is concerned with the design of a two-way, two-lane, local, rural, nondivided roadway using Autodesk land desktop software. The project includes the design of vertical and horizontal curves, and also the study of the cross sections as well as the design of the attainment of superelevation and calculations of the volume of cut and fill for the main roadway and the design of roundabouts, traffic studies, pavement design, and on-site drainage. Many factors will interfere in the design of roads and that based on the site. The Autodesk land desktop combines all the components of design with a sequential order to form a punctual design with the relation of topographic conditions. The project relies on the basis of AutoCAD points supplied by the survey.
