Issue Date: 2017
Abstract:
This project is about the seismic design and analysis of ACHRAFIYEH 4371 designed by the famous architect Bernard Khoury. It is a residential building that consists of 7 different stories; each story encloses several duplex apartments, so it ends up with 14 different levels, some are full and others are empty, a ground floor and 3 underground basements. All loads and design calculations were based on ACI 318 and UBC 97 and ASCE 7- 10. ETABS 2015 was used for modeling, designing all the elements in addition to performing dynamic analysis. Moreover, SAFE 2014 was used to design the mat foundation.
