Abstract: 
This project is an analysis and design of a 10-storey residential building located in Homs Al Ghouta, Syria. It consists of two-way solid slabs, one-way ribbed slabs, frames, retaining walls, shear walls, and mat foundation. All design calculations were based on ACI 318 and UBC 97. ASCE 7 was used to calculate Dead loads and Live loads. ETABS 2015 was used for designing the frames, slabs, shear walls, retaining walls and for performing dynamic analysis. SAFE 2014 was used to design the mat foundation.
