Sur le mythe de l’androgyne dans « Séraphîta » de Balzac

Abstract

L'objet de cette étude est d'analyser le discours mythique tel qu'il apparaît dans Séraphîta roman mythologique de Balzac publié en 1835 et qui occupe dans la «Comédie Humaine» une place visiblement privilégiée. L'image de l'androgyne semble partant des thèses de Mircea Eliade, de Jung et de Gilbert Durand qui servent de référence de lecture à l'œuvre, affectée de valeurs positives. Dans la logique du roman-mythe l'état androgynique est en effet nécessairement privilégié. Il inclut une puissance spécifique et des vertus particulières. En ce sens, l'androgyne rejoindrais les fantasmes de l'humanité. Et c'est bien ce qui apparat à travers tout un matériau de langages-mythique, théosophique, littéraire, ou surgissent les rêves exaltés de l'humanité.

The aim of this study is to analyze the mythical discourse as it appears in Séraphîta, the mythological novel of Balzac published in 1835, that occupies in «la Comédie humane» a privileged place. By going through the thesis of Mircea Eliade, Jung and Gilbert Durand that serve as references to the reading of the text, the image of the Androgyne seems affected by positive values. The representations that concern this image express the desire to restore the primordial and beatific state which is simultaneously the closing and trespassing of the spatio-temporal cycle. In the logic of this novel - myth, the Androgynous state is actually privileged; it includes a specific force and particular virtues. In this sense, the Androgyne meets the phantasms of humanity, and this is what appears through the material used by the author, simply the mythical, theosophical and literary language through which the exalted dreams of humanity appear.

غاية هذا البحث هي تحليل الخطاب الأسطوري كما يبدو في رواية سيرافيتا، رواية ميتولوجية لبلزاك صدرت عام ١٨٣٥ وهي تحتل في الكوميديا البشرية مكانة مميّزة. انطلاقاً من طروحات ميرسيا إيلياد ويونغ وجيليبر دوران التي تصبح مراجع للبحث، تتم دراسة صورة الأندروجين، التي تحمل بكل وضوح قيماً إيجابية. في منطق الرواية - الأسطورة، حالة الأندروجين هي في الواقع مميّزة بالضرورة. فهي تحتوي قوة وفضائل خاصة بهذا المعنى، يلتقي الأندروجين باستيهامات الانسانية. وهذا ما يظهر فعلا من خلال لغات أسطورية تيوزوفية، أدبية، حيث تنبثق أحلام البشرية
