dc.description.abstract | Evidence for covalent pectin – xyloglucan linkages in the cell wall of growing cells and maturing tissues has been reported. In-vitro studies using isolated Golgi membranes, and pulse-labelling studies in vivo, indicate that pectin – xyloglucan linkages form in the Golgi apparatus. The structure and biological significance of these complexes are discussed. | en_US |
