Abstract

Analyse de cette œuvre de réflexion morale d'un romancier, menée selon trois lignes de force qui sont autant de questionnements philosophico-éthiques interrogeant les identités, les religions et la mondialisation. La position médiane qu'occupe le romancier, à la frontière des grands axes divisant l'humanité d'aujourd'hui, appelle à une morale du "juste milieu".

Amin Malouf's book The Murderous Identities is considered a moral and philosophical reflection of the destiny of humanity. This reflection centers on three major problems the whole world is facing: Identity, Religion, and Globalization. When these three major centers intersect and attract humanity, the writer commits himself to a moderate position, calling for moderation to face all types of extremism.
