dc.description.abstract | This practicum report provides details on the internship experience at Mersaco, a leading healthcare distributor company in Lebanon. It focuses on two projects environmental sustainability and enhancing quality training materials. The objective of the environmental management project was to introduce sustainable practices into Mersaco’s operations, addressing issues such as waste management, pollution, and resource conservation. The enhancing quality training materials project involved revising previous training materials to comply with the updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the organization. The report covers the introduction including a comprehensive literature review, methodologies used, results and action plan development to improve environmental practices and training effectiveness. The outcomes of these projects are also discussed, highlighting the knowledge gained, the challenges encountered and the recommendations for future improvement. The practicum provided valuable insights into the application of public health principles in real-world settings, contributing to both environmental and organizational quality improvements. | en_US |
