As environmental concerns grow and finite fossil fuel resources are being depleted, the shift to renewable energy sources has become a ray of hope for a sustainable future. Numerous benefits flows from these creative solutions, such as decreased energy expenses, improved energy security, and less of an influence on the environment. Renewable energy solutions are becoming more efficient, affordable, and widely available due to ongoing technological developments and the unrelenting pursuit of innovation. This is opening the door to a society that is cleaner, healthier, and less expensive. In this thesis, the revolutionary potential of renewable energy solutions for Kousba village in Koura, Lebanon, is explored along with their many benefits. The objective of this thesis is to identify the best electrical solution for Kousba, a rural village in Koura, Lebanon, by conducting an in-depth investigation. The study carefully assesses the financial feasibility and overall benefits of implementing renewable energy options in the village through an extensive examination of break-even analysis and benefit-cost ratio (BCR) approaches. A comprehensive approach is followed, taking into account both the advantages and disadvantages of each energy source. The greatest challenge was translating the qualitative advantages and disadvantages into monetary terms. This serves as the cornerstone for analyzing the cost effects of putting various energy options into practice. An Excel sheet that provides a reliable and easy-to-use reference calculator has the formulation of these analyses carefully elaborated. This will be a useful, simple to use tool that offers a straightforward method for assessing the viability and affordability of different energy sources in similar research scenarios. As the world comes to understand the necessity of a sustainable future, renewable energy solutions are ready to shine a light on the way forward, providing a cleaner, affordable, and healthier environment for humanity.en_US
