dc.description.abstract | Primary health care centers (PHCCs) are defined as the first line of treatment that helps decrease the load on secondary and tertiary health centers. Strengthening the PHCCs in a country will lead to a better and cost-effective health care system. The weakened health care system in Lebanon, due to the compiling factors especially in the last decade, calls for action to support primary health care centers. Strengthening Access to a Quality, Inclusive, and Resilient Healthcare System (SAQIRH) is a project funded by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and implemented by Amel association in 11 PHCCs, distributed all over Lebanon, to support these PHCCs and thus lead to a better national health care system. The goal of this internship is to update the service mapping of Ain el Remmaneh and Achrafieh health and community centers and prepare an outreach plan for these centers to support the implementation of SAQIRH in these two centers. The intern did a service mapping for both areas using phone calls, site visits and web search and detailed services for surrounding centers were prepared. Meetings with key people in both areas and participating in awareness sessions held for the public were also part of the action plan. This report will serve as part of the detailed outreach plan. | en_US |
