Abstract: 
This paper represents a novel study comparing Copper and Aluminum conductors for Extra-High Voltage(EHV) Underground (UG) power cables for the power transmission between a power station and a substation. The purpose of this comparison is to get the best performance of each power cable through several cable installation conditions and to have the optimal project cost.
