هل من غموض عند سيبويه؟

Abstract

تضع هذه الدراسة الإصبع على مكمن الغموض في كتاب سيبويه وتدفع عن صاحبه تهمة العجمة والكلام بغير كلام العرب. فأسباب الغموض في كتاب سيبويه عائدة إلى تحريفات النسّاخ ونقص في النص لم يهتد إليه الشارحون. والسبب الرئيسي في ذلك شيوع مخطوط المبرّد الذي راج وحده بسبب احتكاره نسخة سيبويه وترويجها بواسطة تلامذته. ولما اكتشف هومبرت (G. Humbert) مخطوطة ميلانو تبين بوضوح أن الغموض مفتعل وأن هذا المخطوط قد وضع الأمور في نصابها الصحيح وأزال الغموض الذي سببه التحريف والنقص في مخطوط المبرّد الذي طبع وكان أكثر الطبعات رواجاً. ولكن تصحيح نسخة المبرّد غير ممكنة الآن لأن مخطوط ميلانو المكتشف حديثاً غير مكتمل مع الأسف

L'étude dévoile les causes de la confusion dans le livre de Sibawayh et réfute les accusations de barbarisme et d'infidélité à la langue arabe adressées à son auteur. A l'origine de cette confusion sont les distorsions introduites par les scribes et la non-intégralité du texte original, que les commentateurs n'ont pas pu deviner. En effet, la monopolisation du texte original de Sibawayh par Al- Mubarrid et la grande diffusion du manuscrit établi par ce dernier par le biais de ses disciples président d cette confusion. La découverte du manuscrit de Milan par G. HUMBERT montre clairement qu'il s'agit d'une fausse confusion dûe aux distorsions et à la non-intégralité du texte original Toutefois, il n'est pas possible pour l'instant d'apporter les corrections nécessaires au manuscrit d'A-Mubarrid, vu que le manuscrit de Milan est malheureusement incomplet.

This paper explains the ambiguity in Sibawayh's book, discharging it of barbarism and linguistic incorrectness. As a matter of fact, this ambiguity is due to transcribing distortions and textual incompleteness that commentators failed to pinpoint. In fact, al-Mubarred monopolized Sibawayh's original copy & imposed his own manuscript through his disciples. When G. Humbert discovered the Milan's manuscript, it became clear that the ambiguity was factitious. The newly-discovered manuscript revealed that the so-called ambiguity was caused by distortion and incompleteness in al-Mubarred's manuscript which was the most widespread edition. Nevertheless, it's not possible for the moment to rectify it because the Milan's manuscript is unfortunately incomplete.
