L’Exclamation chez Jubran Khalil Jubran (Une Approche Pragmatique)

Abstract

L'Enoncé Exclamatif (E.E.) dans le discours littéraire en prose à travers une perspective pragmatique tant linguistique que littéraire permet d'éclairer plusieurs aspects d'une œuvre: les rapports auteur-lecteur, les rapports de l'exclamation avec la subjectivité affective, la fonction rhétorico-symbolique de l'exclamation et son statut dramatique, la théâtralité et la théâtralisation, enfin la réalité et la fiction. L'œuvre narrative de Jubran Khalil Jubran, choisie comme champ d'application, présente les caractéristiques requises pour une telle recherche.

The examination of the exclamative utterance (E.U.) in the prose literary discourse through a pragmatic perspective, related to linguistics and literature, allows us to clarify many aspects of a work: the relationship author-reader, the links between exclamation and affective subjectivity, the rhetorico-symbolic function of exclamation and its dramatic status, the theatrality and theatralisation, and finally the reality and the fiction; The narrative work of Jubran Khalil Jubran, chosen for application, presents the required characteristics for such a research.
