Abstract

L'article proposé au lecteur s'applique à rappeler aux adeptes de la linguistique guillaumienne ce qui en fait l'originalité face aux autres doctrines qui visent à une théorisation du langage. On y attire particulièrement l'attention sur les mécanismes psychiques qui conditionnent dans l'inconscient le fonctionnement du langage.

The goal of this article is to remind Guillaumian linguists of what makes Guillaume's theory stand out from among other approaches whose aim it is to develop a general theory of language. The article mainly focuses on the mental mechanisms which condition the unconscious workings of human language.
