This article aims to present the history of the discovery of the mosaic floor of the Byzantine church of the Saint Martyrs, which was discovered in 1985 in Tiba al-Imam, located 7 km north-east of Mhardeh city (Hama province in Syria). The mosaics decorate the floor of an old basilica, composed of a large hall with three galleries and altar. The episcopal seat located in the middle of the central gallery was also discovered. Due to the beauty of the mosaics and their exceptional ornamental and architectural style, this floor is considered to be one of the most beautiful ancient example discovered in Syria.en_US
