dc.description.abstract | The chapel of Saint Charbel is located in the lower part of Douma, in the middle of olive groves between the village and the recently built highway leading to Tannurin. This chapel is the only surviving part of a larger mediaeval Greek Orthodox convent. This article aims to analyse the ground plan of the shrine in the context of the area’s history between Antiquity and the Middle Ages. | en_US |
