Job insecurity has risen due to technical improvements, automation, a cheaper workforce, and economic and financial volatility. Thus, job insecurity is characterized by employees feeling unsafe or unstable at their jobs and at risk of being let go. The sense of insecurity that employees might feel is intimately linked with sociological and economic factors that might limit employees' role in a company. Thus, the fundamental purpose of the study is to evaluate the relationship between job insecurity and employees’ performance and well-being in a group of INGOs in Lebanon. Thus, the study followed a survey strategy and a quantitative approach. A questionnaire was distributed to employees in INGOs to identify the impact of job insecurity on their well-being and performance. The results were analyzed by relying on descriptive analysis and SPSS. Additionally, 201 participants contributed to the study. The results indicated that the job insecurity of Lebanese employees in INGOs is not very high because employees are highly committed to their jobs and trust their managers, which reduces the turnover rate in such organizations. Mental wellbeing was slightly correlated to job insecurity, indicating that additional variables must be studied to assess the factors that impact mental well-being in INGOs. Further studies can rely on the findings of this project to further delve in-depth into the factors that induce job insecurity and the impact of this insecurity on different facets of employees' performance and mental and physical wellbeing.en_US
