dc.description.abstract | Object relation is a central theme in psychoanalysis and psychopathology. The normal development of the child presupposes the formation of object relation. However, acquiring an object relation is dependent upon the senses, mainly vision. How could then someone who has completely lost vision, develop an object relation if the visual impairment occurred since birth? This study will examine the object relation of people who are blind since birth and will exclude people who have low vision or who became blind after a period of vision. The aim of the study is to shed light on the process of development of blind 96people, reveal new concepts and allow for a better understanding of the inner world of the blind and therefore contribute to an improved adaptation of therapy to the condition of a blind person. | en_US |
