dc.description.abstractCareer goals are critical issues in life. Many women nowadays are coming forward to work in order to support their family; thus, the biggest challenge for women is how to balance the demands of family and career. Furthermore, the superiority of women in top management positions is an issue distressing companies worldwide. Womens pursuit of an executive career is full with obstacles and work-family challenges. The literature identifies various aspects under the umbrella of work life balance such as Work Stress, and Work Family Conflict, Constraints and barriers facing workingwomen, and Flexibility .The aim of this paper is to answer our research question "How Work Life Balance affects the career path and development of Women in Managerial position"? In addition, it presents some insights concerning work life balance in the eyes of Lebanese women managers throughout their careers, inspects Lebanese women in different managerial levels familiarity with work life balance practices in various Lebanese sectors in addition to their ways of coping and dealing with it, and finally it exposes the overview of the numerous challenges and concerns faced by those women. To answer our main research question, we made interviews with 17 Lebanese Women in managerial positions. In brief, the main results were that companies, from different sectors, dont cherish WLB; this balance was due to the womens personal efforts. The majority of our interviewees claimed achieving balance between both life roles due to individual effort, prioritizing and time management.en_US
